I got a silver award in the Rise awards which I think is fantastic considering I only entered one image and the category was pets and nature. The quality of the photos was outstanding and I’m proud to have done this well. The judges gave it 87.5% they said it has great impact. My imagination and technical skill demonstrate great creativity and style. Excellent detail and texture in the fur of this image, and the light on the face is really done well. The lighting adds some great highlights to the eyes and brings out that beautiful orange colour which is mimicked in the design of the background. Overall very well done. However the vignette was too heavy.
